Tony Saunders released his 4th project Appaloosa (which explains the 2 horses on his CD cover) and I must admit this is a very good smooth jazz project mixed in with some R&B and Gospel. After doing some research I found out that he is the son of the late legendary keyboardist Merl Saunders and has played with the likes of Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Ringo, Patti Labelle and Chaka Khan just to name a few.

This second album from bassist Tony Saunders featuring his blend of smooth jazz and R&B. An array of guest artists are featuring on this album such as Howard Hewitt, Santana vocalist Tony Lindsay and others.
He told me this song "Blue Nickels" he wrote on a cold afternoon and he dropped a nickel on the heater and it turned Blue.
How simple can it be.
On this song Matt Clark is on keyboards, Barry Finnerty on guitar, Melecio Magdaluyo on sax and Dante M. Roberson on drums.
